The House Mill, Three Mill Lane, Bromley-by-Bow, London

Originally the site of a medieval flour mill the buildings were gradually converted between 1727 and 1734 for distilling and malting. A bonded warehouse was built here in about 1800. The area was heavily bombed during WWII and distilling was never resumed here. It was also the site of the house used in the first 2 series' of 'Big Brother', from 2000-2001.
