The Jolly Sailor Public House, Fawley, Hampshire

This building was originally Ashlett Mill. It was a tidemill. This mill was built in 1816, but records of a mill on this site date back to 1618. It was used as a corn mill until 1890. In the 1920s it was used as accommodation for the construction workers building the oil refineries at Fawley. In 1932 in became the ESSO Recreation Club.
