The Old Cider Factory, New Walk, Totnes, Devon

This former malthouse dates from the early 19th century. The warehouse rises direct from the river to make it easy to load and unload raw materials and the finished product. The shape of the central section with its large chimney is typical of buildings used for brewing. Cider is traditionally a major product of Devon. The building has since been used for housing.
