The Old Schoolroom, South Hiendley, West Yorkshire

Built as a schoolroom, now a parish room, probably in the 16th century. Records show that Prudence, wife of Richard Berrie and niece of Sir Richard Gargrave of Kinsley, endowed the school in mid 17th century. It is mentioned in l660 as free school for the manor of Havercroft.
