Town Hall, Victoria Square, Birmingham, West Midlands

Birmingham Town Hall viewed from the east with the Peel Statue in the foreground. Joseph Hansom and Edward Welch won a competition in 1830 to become the architects and construction began in 1832. It was then completed and enlarged by Charles Edge. The interior of the Town Hall was altered between 1926-1927.
