Trinity Hospital, The Green West, Long Melford, Suffolk

This building was established in 1573 by Sir William Cordell as an almshouse for 12 aged men and a warden. It was largely restored 1847 and today it provides accommodation for women and married couples. Sir William Cordell lived at Melford Hall and was a former servant to all of Henry VIII's children.
