Underground Hospital, Dover Castle, Dover, Kent

There is a network of secret tunnels built below the castle beneath the white cliffs. Construction began during the Middle Ages. These have been used in various wars. During WW2 there was a command post and an underground military hospital where soldiers were treated. This was one of the wards. This property is in the care of English Heritage (2013).
