The entrance block of Wills No.1 Factory. It was designed in the 1880s by Sir Frank Wills. W.D. & H.O. Wills was an important employer in Bristol at the turn of the twentieth century. It had several factories producing cigarettes and other tobacco based products, in various locations around the city. After the factories closed in 1988 some were demolished but others were adapted to new, modern purposes. A large supermarket lies behind the old facade of the Number 1 factory.
