Windmill, Horsey Staithe, Norfolk

This mill was built in 1912 to replace a Victorian one. The shutterless sails power a water-pump, which helps to drain the low-lying Norfolk countryside. There is also a large stack of cut reeds on the riverbank, these would be used for thatching roofs.
