Woodend Mill, Manchester Road, Mossley, Greater Manchester

This integrated cotton mill was built between c1830-40. It was built in several phases. It is a near complete example of a first generation integrated cotton mill site, where both weaving and spinning processes were planned from the outset. Before this the two processes had been done on separate sites.
