St Mary's church is a Grade II* listed building which is on the Heritage at Risk register. The structure mostly dates from the 14C-15C and is made of fieldstone rubble with quoins of Barnack stone. The tower is early 14C. The windows are mostly Perpendicular with the tower window Decorated. The south aisle is also 14C with octagonal columns. The east window has a Last Supper in stained glass by E.R. Suffling, (1901) while mediaeval fragments can be found in some of the tracery lights. The altar table is Jacobean; there are two boxed pews and remains of the dado from a rood screen. There is no running water to the church nor a heating system.
