St Michael & All Angels is a small Grade I listed village church in the English Perpendicular style, located remotely from the main village settlement and accessed by a 250m track leading through a field gate from the northern end of the village street to a grassed car park next to the churchyard. Partly constructed in 1120, much of the present church was built in the 14th and 15th c. of ashlar sandstone under lead-covered Tudor oak beam roofs over the nave and chancel and lower north and south aisles. The church contains a Norman bowlfont and Tudor oak parcloses to the north and south aisles as well as other joinery of note. The tower containing four bells, has a spire dating from the 14th Century
