Clifford Castle, Clifford, Herefordshire HR3 5EU

Barbican and keep of Norman motte and bailey castle (ruins) on the River Wye. Originally built in 1070 and added to over the next 250 years. A five tower shell keep dominates the site.

Opening Arrangements

We are not yet able to set firm dates for 2024 but as in previous years, the Castle will be open for 28 days during the year and these will be published in Spring 2024 on the website - https://cliffordcastle.org under the Contact section.
