Hexham Abbey, the local Parish Church located in the historic town of Hexham. As well as offering regular worship services throughout the week for congregation, pilgrims and all visitors, the Church is open 7 days a week for visitors to enjoy all the Heritage within the Abbey. Of interest are the 7th century crypt, medieval timber painted panel and roman connections. The site includes a cafe and exhibition which is also open 7 days a week.

Opening Arrangements

Open to visitors 7 days a week 10.00 until 16.00 in winter, 10.00 until 17.00 in summer, unless a service or concert is in progress.
