Scadbury Moated Manor comprises an island surrounded by a moat, fishponds, the 16th Century remains of a manor house and an apple store that was constructed in the early 20th Century The site was designated as a Scheduled Monument (list entry number 1409786) in 2013. The scheduled area comprises the island, moat, fishponds and the land enclosed by the eastern embankment. The surviving standing remains include 16th century brickwork and structures from the 1930s.

Opening Arrangements

Open House weekend 7th to 8th September. Opening hours normally 2-4pm. Moated Manor is a working site so primarily locked unless hosting workshops for schools and other groups.
