St Denys Church, Dundee Road, Southampton SO17 2ND

George Gilbert Scott Church of 1868 completed in 1889. Externally severe early Gothic, internally less so with contrasting red brick and decorative Bath stone dressings. Windows by Heaton Butler and Baynes and Altar Piece by Powell and co. Organ pre 1752. One stone coffin and panel of decorative 13th/14th C floor tiles from St Denys Priory.
