St John the Evangelist, St Johns Road

St John the Evangelist, St Johns Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham B11 4RG

Constructed in 1888, the church sits exactly at the top of the hill known as Sparkhill. Grade II Listed. Designed by Martin and Chamberlain. The architectural style of the exterior is a Victorian version of early English Gothic but with 19th century engineering advances. Displays no further similarities to the Medieval in its interior arrangements.
