St Margaret, Syleham, Suffolk IP21 4LN
Parish church dating to Saxon period. The church comprises west tower, nave with south porch and chancel. The earliest datable feature is the vestigial pre-Conquest long-and-short work in the nave north-west corner. The lower part of the tower and the nave west returns may also be of similar date. The west round tower is in two stages, the belfry stage slightly inset on a stone string course.
