St Mary's, Church Lane

St Mary's, Church Lane, Northiam, East Sussex TN31 6NN

An active place of worship, with fine 17thC woodwork. The Nave, originally aisle-less (they were added in the 14thC), and Tower are 12th Century, the unique octagonal stone spire is 16th Century (with later alterations). The East end Chancel and Frewen Chapel are 19thC.
