St Nicholas, Gayton, King's Lynn, Norfolk PE32 1PA
Parish church. Standing prominently in the centre of the village on the south side of the road, with access and parking situated behind the main road. A square West Tower of three stages plus parapet with diminutive diagonal buttresses to west corners is in line with nave and chancel. Nave flanked by north and south aisles and a south porch. The tower has several unusual features, notable two stories of windows to the belfry, and a most distinctive and unusual domed roof in vaulted stone which creates a very recognisable landmark; there are statues of the 4 Evangelists at the corners. It has a clock and 2 bells.
