Stanley Arts, 12 South Norwood Hill, Croydon, London SE25 6AB
Grade II listed building constructed as part of the Stanley Halls (the other part of which is now a school), funded & designed by William Stanley in 1901-1909. The buildings have an Italianate character and are an interesting example of freestyle, early C20 design. Stanley Arts is now a centre for performing arts with heritage & community arts programmes, with four historic performance spaces & a historic gallery.
Opening Arrangements
Outside of performance times the venue is open to the public from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri. The Café and Coworking Space is open Mon-Fri 9am-3pm.
