The property is a property of significance in Newport Isle of Wight the original building is over 400 years old with additional extensions in the Victorian era. The Victorian sports Hall was used and will in future be used for the community and educational purposes. The rest of the site which is also at points over 400 years old and is part of the site as a whole is used daily as our head office and open to the public. The front of the building is the same age as the building where the repairs were and it has had a modern extension by the Council. in the building where the repairs were to save water ingress and additional damage is where Charles 1st resided before he went to London for his execution
Opening Arrangements
The site as a whole is open every day. The Victorian school hall is currently closed until renovation work is completed.
