Castle Square Car Park Retaining Wall is part of the medieval Ludlow Town Wall which is circa 700 years old and a scheduled ancient monument. It is situated near the town centre where it supports a heavily used public car park. Residential properties exist in close proximity to the front of the wall which is approximately 8m high and 53m long. A section of the wall was repaired in 2009.
