Week, Berry Pomeroy - South Hams

Small house reduced in size and now derelict. C16, date 1584 on interior plasterwork now removed to Totnes museum. Also barn at right angles. Stone rubble walls with gabled ends, new slate roof and concrete ring-beam replacing scantle roof. Originally L-shaped on plan but south wing replaced by a linhay. South east wall partly rebuilt in blockwork. No first floor, stair or glazing, wall footings concreted, ground level raised at north sides. Condition stable but vulnerable. Historic England is in discussion with owner and lessee regarding repair and reuse.
