Church of St Peter, Church Lane, Saxelbye, Grimston - Melton

Parish church of C13 origin, contributions of C14 and C15 and restored 1856-7. The church is constructed of ironstone with limestone dressings. An ironstone tower is topped by a limestone spire. Masonry is generally in fair condition, however, some tower blocks have eroded quite considerably and some sizeable masonry fragments have fallen to the ground.
