Church of St Augustine of England, St Augustine's Road, Ramsgate - Thanet

Important complex standing on a cliff top, constructed by AWN Pugin and containing his tomb. The site consists of a churchyard to the south and a cloister to the north with chapels, sacristy and ancillary accommodation. The church comprises a nave, crossing with tower and confessional, chancel, south aisle and chapel. The first Historic England/Heritage Lottery fund repair grant was offered in 2010 to address urgent repairs to roofs, gutters and high level masonry. With further phases in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
