Church of St John the Evangelist, Blackfriars Road, King's Lynn - King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Church built in 1844 - 6 by Anthony Salvin for David Gurney of North Runcton Hall. Sandstone with slate roofs in the early English Gothic style. Flying buttresses added in 1889 -90 on the west elevation. The building is in the process of a slow deterioration, mainly due to the condition of the rainwater goods and roofs. There is some structural movement, which has been ongoing for many years.
