Church of St Margaret, Saturday Market Place, King's Lynn - King's Lynn and West Norfolk
Benedictine priory founded 1095, now parish church known as King's Lynn Minster. Rebuilt during C13, altered continuously since. Limestone construction, featuring twin west towers, nave, aisles, transepts with crossing tower, aisled chancel. West front with central arched door under crenellated surround. A National Lottery Heritage Fund Grants for Places of Worship grant was accepted in 2016 for alterations and repairs to decaying high level masonry and Roman cement to west end and west towers: however a significant amount of masonry remains at risk.
