Church of St Mary, Church Lane, Stoke-by-Nayland - Babergh

Parish church dating to C15, incorporating earlier work to the tower. Urgent structural issues had been identified, including instability of the south aisle and chancel wall tops, which had been propped. The PCC had been very successful in fundraising which enabled the commencement of a significant repairs project. An Historic England Repair Grant was offered in March 2023. This phase of the project is scheduled for completion by summer 2024.
