Church of St Peter and St Paul, Church Road, Harling - Breckland
Parish church circa 1300 with sporadic building programs to 1450, restored 1878-29. Flint with ashlar dressings. West tower, nave, aisles and chancel. Aisle roofs with arched braces the latter with pierced tracery spandrels, moulded butt purlins and principles as per nave. All of these roofs circa mid-15th century. South nave chapel of similar date. With fine Parclose screen. Important monuments in south-east nave chapel to Robert Harling and Sir Thomas Lovell. Metal roof to aisles has come to the end of its life, leaks onto the parclose screen and monuments.
