Church of All Saints, Church Lane, Clipston - Daventry
Early C13 church in ironstone and limestone with broach stone spire; contains monuments to the Buswells. The tower was rebuilt in the restoration of 1884-85. Aisled nave, the south aisle and vestry have tall three-light windows and plain glass. A C20 extension provides chapel, kitchen and WCs. The church is damp internally. Listed Places of Worship Roof Repair Fund grant repairs were completed in 2018. The external drainage is defective and repairs are required to the rainwater goods. A recent steeplejack survey revealed concerns about spire stonework. The PCC is working with the Diocese.
