Church of St Mary, Holt Road, North Elmham - Breckland

Parish church, medieval and later. Flint with ashlar and some brick dressings. West tower, aisled nave with south porch and chancel with flanking chapels. The south transept roof structure is in poor condition and has been propped up. There is an area of algal growth over most of the north aisle north wall at low level as well as around the base of the nave columns. The nave roof south slope is leaking in a few locations. Historic England offered a grant for urgent repairs to the south transept due to be completed in 2020.
