Church of St Julian, Church Lane, Benniworth - East Lindsey
Parish church with mid-C12 fabric, rebuilt by James Fowler in 1875. There is loose and fallen stonework in the north parapet, with open and washed out mortar joints at high-level on the tower and spire. There is historical structural movement within the tower, and cracking in the nave and transepts. There are issues of long-term damp and rainwater ingress, with dry-rot and decayed structural roof timbers, with loose and fallen high-level plasterwork. The church suffers from poor ventilation. The Parochial Church Council are keen to undertake repairs and minor roofing works are scheduled.
