Remotely located C14 church with exceptionally complete coeval scheme of wall paintings with some evidence of detachment. Conservator has advised that urgent consolidation is required prior to any works being undertaken. The congregation have carried out urgent work to the wall paintings and are now working on a scheme to address excess dampness, in advance of a more major conservation exercise to the wall paintings.
