Church of St Paul, Staverton - South Hams
Early C14 church, largely rebuilt in the C15, with north and south aisles, western tower and two-storey porch. Very damp throughout with damage and white salts to tile floors and evidence of beetle in pew platforms. High level water ingress, particularly at west end of aisles requires attention. Rainwater goods require further work, particularly blocked valley gutters at west end. Cracks in cement render. In need of stonework repair and repointing. Vestry roof poor.
