Church of St Wilfrid, Main Street, North Muskham - Newark and Sherwood
Church, C12 origin of Blue Lias stone. A Listed Places of Worship Roof Repair Fund grant in 2016 enabled the repair of rainwater goods and the tower's parapet gutter. The lower stages of tower masonry are heavily weathered, and a considerable body of masonry repairs is needed. The church has been subject to heritage crime. Recipient of an Historic England Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund grant in 2020 for roof repairs. Historic England has had some discussions with the church architect regarding stone repair options.
