Church of St Peter and St Paul, Church Lane, Algarkirk - Boston
Parish church dating from the C12. Extensive roof repairs were completed in 2014 under a joint Historic England and National Lottery Heritage Fund Repair grant for Places of Worship. Improvement to the below-ground drainage system is required; there has been a recent outbreak of dry rot at floor level. The church is experiencing structural movement, cracking to walling and damage to windows. The church has been a victim of heritage crime. The National Lottery Heritage Fund Stage Two grant awarded in 2018 was withdrawn in early 2020. The Parochial Church Council is considering future options.
