Church of St Peter, Church Lane, Wrestlingworth and Cockayne Hatley - Central Bedfordshire (UA)

Parish church. C12 origins, with additions and alteration of C13, C14, C15 and C19. Rubble walls, mixture of cobbles and ironstone with some fragments of C12 masonry. Ashlar dressings, mostly of clunch. Slate roofs. Vertical cracking to tower turret stair found not to be an issue. Nave and south aisle roof coverings replaced in 2019. Repairs to South Aisle carried out in 2021. Major repairs to the turret took place in 2022. Windows and stone surrounds remain in poor condition. The PCC are exploring sources of funding for remaining repairs.
