Church of St Peter, Church Lane, Wrestlingworth, Wrestlingworth and Cockayne Hatley - Central Bedfordshire (UA)

Parish church. C12 origins, with additions and alteration of C13, C14, C15 and C19. Rubble walls, mixture of cobbles and ironstone with some fragments of C12 masonry. Ashlar dressings, mostly of clunch. Slate roofs. Chancel, nave, north and south aisles, south porch, west tower. Vertical cracking to tower turret stair found not to be an issue. Church has recently been subject to heritage crime. Repairs to the tower and window masonry on hold. Fundraising underway.
