Broad Street Methodist Church and attached Sunday School, Broad Street, Spalding - South Holland
Methodist church, built by F Boreham in 1887. The attached Sunday School serves as a church hall and provides services to the wider community. Red brick construction with ashlar dressings and decorative banding. The extensive slate roofs suffered widespread nail fatigue. Re-roofing of the church was completed in 2014 following a joint Historic England and National Lottery Heritage Fund Repair Grants for Places of Worship grant. There are a number of defects with the Sunday School and rear range roofs. These buildings remain vulnerable. The church is well used by the local community.
