Life Transformation Church (former Church of St Paul), Havelock Place, High Elswick - Newcastle upon Tyne

Former parish church of 1856-9 designed by John Dobson. Closed in 2006, it was vacant and subject to heritage crime until the Life Transformation Ministry took over in 2009. A National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England Repair Grant for Places of Worship enabled a first phase of urgent repairs in 2014. Further funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund Grants for Places of Worship scheme facilitated a second phase of urgent repairs in 2017. Some ancillary works have been implemented but needs wider internal repairs. Further works are required to secure the site's long-term use.
