Church of St Mary, Church Street, Orston - Rushcliffe
Parish church, C13, C14, C15 with the tower dating back to 1766 and restored in 1889. The nave and north aisle were restored 1914. The nave clerestory dates from C15. The church tower is suffering from movement and requires investigation. Fabric appears to be in good condition except for the tower and the associated cracking in the interior of the church. Urgent works to the stonework of the north west arcade were undertaken in late 2021. Potential funding avenues are being explored by the congregation for outstanding repair works.
