Church of St Peter and St Paul, Main Street, Bolingbroke, Bolingbroke - East Lindsey
Parish church of 1360, possible built for John of Gaunt. Partly destroyed in the Civil War and restored 1866. The building has been poorly maintained but a local interest group has been formed and are actively seeking funding to undertake repairs. A Covid19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund Grant has enabled urgent holding repairs to be undertaken, however, a broader scope of repairs is required to address issues with roofs, rainwater goods, drainage and structural issues with boiler chimney. The Friends Group have been successfully awarded funding for ongoing works.
