Church of St Ann, St Ann Street, Manchester City Centre - Manchester
Classical style church, 1709-12, with strong anti-Jacobite connections. Restored 1886 by Alfred Waterhouse. Large round-headed windows and internal aisle arcade of Tuscan columns supporting the upper balconies. The church plays a key role in defining the character of St Ann's Square.
