Church of St Mary Brookfield, Dartmouth Park Road, Hampstead NW5 - Camden
The church was built in the late C19 by W Butterfield with the chancel added by WC Street in 1881. Construction is of stock brick with red brick bands, diaper work and stone dressings under a slated roof. The church has a fine interior. There is severe spalling to brickwork internally to chancel walls and weathering of stone dressings at high level externally, caused by previous failure of parapet gutters and rainwater goods at the east end. The parish is preparing a project to carry out the necessary repairs and is investigating sources of funding.
