Church of St Mary the Virgin, Eversholt Street, Somers Town NW1 - Camden

Built in 1824-7, designed by H and HW Inwood in Gothic style with the apse added in 1888 by Ewan Christian, who also removed the side galleries. The church has slate pitched roofs and brick walling with stone dressings. Inspection by roped access and a drone has shown that the roofs are in poor condition along with the gutters, flashings and rainwater goods. Water staining is evident internally, along with dampness at low level. Areas of stone are decayed and past cementitious repairs are becoming detached. Protective scaffolding was erected in 2023 to catch any falls of masonry.
