Church of St Lawrence, Church Street, Stanwick - North Northamptonshire (UA)

Church, of C13 and C14 and restored 1858. Regular coursed and squared coursed limestone with ashlar spire. New roof structure and covering added to nave in 1858. The nave has a steep gabled roof with Collyweston slates laid in diminishing courses, castellated ashlar parapet and gable finial. The Collyweston slates are now reaching the end of their serviceable life and require replacement to prevent water ingress. The parish are working with the Diocesan Historic Churches Support Officer to explore sources of grant funding.
