Church of St Mary, Rakes Lane, Tissington and Lea Hall, Derbyshire Dales - Derbyshire Dales
Medieval C12 church with rebuilding in 1854, constructed of coursed limestone with gritstone dressings and slate roofs. Fabric appears to be in good condition generally and the church is well-maintained. However, there is localised damp staining including to the tympanum over the south door and the nave roof covering is at the end of its economic lives. The shallow pitched slopes will require re-slating subject to potential fundraising avenues.
