Church of St Mary the Virgin, Main Street, Wyfordby, Freeby - Melton

A small parish church of C13 origin with C14 additions. Restored in 1869 and again in 1965. The church has suffered repeated occurrences of heritage crime. Recent repair works have been completed, however remaining temporary protective sheeting is in poor condition and is no longer waterproof. The Diocesan Historic Churches Support Officer is providing advice and fundraising is still underway.
