Springfield Hospital (main building), Glenburnie Road SW17 - Wandsworth

Former psychiatric hospital built in 1840 in Tudor Gothic style as the Surrey County Asylum. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for the redevelopment of the site and demolition of curtilage listed buildings were granted on appeal in 2012. Phase 1 of the re-development has been approved and the listed buildings' strategy was approved in April 2017. The Hospital Trust appointed a development partner in 2018 to progress a phased programme of works and bring forward applications for the conversion of the listed buildings for residential use.
