Battersea Park Station, Battersea Park Road SW8 - Wandsworth

Italianate style railway station built circa 1865 for the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. Alterations to the train service mean that the historically and architecturally significant platform 1 is now redundant. Repair works are now complete, but the building remains underused. A study carried out in 2014 looked at options for improving the station. Discussions took place between the Local Authority and Network Rail in 2017 concerning more extensive works. An initial legal agreement with Network Rail over a scheme of works was secured in 2018.
